Action Sports started its journey in Queensland Australia in 1957.
The early years saw production focused on gymnastics, foam and play products. Over time, the range moved its focus to an even broader range of products. After years of the successful supply and manufacture of quality sports, trampoline and active play equipment, the brand has established itself as a market leader. By still having our main offices and operations in Australia, our team has grown over the years to now promote our brand both here and abroad.
Action today
Action Sports is now a division of the parent company Uncle Bills Australia. Our specialty is global product development, sourcing & logistics expertise, with unique consolidation facilities in China.
Our offices and showrooms are based in Australia, New Zealand and China, with additional local offices in other markets including UK, Canada and the USA. Action Sports owns numerous established brands, including Action Sports, Sportslife, UB Sports and Red Corner Boxing.
A large amount of our supply also focuses on OEM and private label manufacturing for our retail customers. Our experienced in-house buying team comes from a strong retail background. We also work collaboratively with both our large and small customers. The ability to see the business from both a consumer and supplier perspective sets us apart from many competitors.
We are an award-winning supplier, working with major retailers globally. We source stock from all over the world and work closely with our factory partners, to enable quality products at the best possible prices.

We remain determined to build a culture, continuous training and upskilling with our employees. We select our factories and partners with its social, ethical and sustainability commitments in mind and have a system of regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance. We are a member of SEDEX, BSCI, BEPI and are FSC registered. Our focus also aims at continual improvement in the use of sustainable packaging and production materials.
Product Compliance and Quality Control
We have our own Compliance and Quality Control team in place, who ensure the highest standard of our product, packaging and labelling requirements are met. We also work hand in hand with approved labs for all testing requirements for different countries and jurisdiction. Our Quality Control has a dedicated team based in China and India, as well as working with our independent QC providers, to ensure production is always as per specification.
